- Inside Chaoyang Park, the evening programme includes a Labubu group performance, 13–19 night carnival games and special drinks. It is aimed at younger visitors and families.
- Yunshangxing waterfront performance
- A moving waterfront performance combining water screens, lasers and live scenery for an evening on the canal.
Shows and exhibitions
- Universal Beijing Resort
- Beyond Harry Potter and Transformers, the evening atmosphere and parade are part of the appeal. Allow a full day.
- National Centre for the Performing Arts
- Come for drama, opera or a concert, but also for the building itself: the dome and its reflection along the water corridor are part of the visit.
- Traditional Beijing teahouse performances
- Around Qianmen or Shichahai, spend an evening in a traditional Beijing teahouse with comic dialogue and acrobatic or variety acts.
Slower experiences
- Summer Palace in the evening
- We recommend an evening boat ride or walk for the atmosphere of the imperial garden after dark. Seasonal opening and boat availability must be checked before going.
- Wenyu River Park
- For time outdoors, the park has extensive lawns and camping areas. Bring a picnic mat and spend an afternoon in the sun or flying a kite with friends.
