What you are buying
The Guide Pass is a single purchase of US$19 that opens every guide we have published, including the China Ready library. It is not a subscription, there is no renewal, and nothing is charged again later. Guides are read on this website while you are signed in; the pass is not a file download and does not give you the rights to redistribute or resell the text.
Price and payment
The price is shown in US dollars before you pay. Payment is collected by our payment provider, Creem, and the charge appears on your statement under that name. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it is shown at checkout. We never see or store your card number.
Your account
The pass belongs to the account that bought it, which is what lets it follow you to another device. Sign in with the same account and the guides open anywhere. Do not share your sign-in details; access used by someone else is still your purchase. If you lose access to your sign-in email, contact us and we will help you recover the account.
Refunds
Write to support@slowchinaguide.com within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full, no reason needed. After 14 days, we refund where a guide would not open and we could not fix it, or where the law requires it. A refund ends access to the paid guides, because the pass goes with the payment. Refund processing times depend on your bank, not on us.
Not a travel agency
What we sell is editorial digital content. We do not book transport, accommodation or attraction tickets, we do not arrange guides or airport pickup, and we do not give visa advice or live travel assistance. Nothing on this site is a booking or a guarantee of entry, and we are not a party to any purchase you make from a hotel, railway, airline or venue.
Travel information
Guides state what was checked, when sources were reviewed and what remains uncertain. Prices, policies, opening hours and entry rules change without notice, so check time-sensitive details with the official source before you rely on them. If you find something out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
Changes to the library
We add and revise guides over time. Buying the pass does not entitle you to a specific future title, and we do not promise that a given guide will stay unchanged. If we ever stop operating this site, we will announce it by email to pass holders before access ends.
